As part of its sustainability efforts, Hobie® Eyewear partnered with the FishAmerica Foundation this year to support habitat restoration and clean water initiatives nationwide. A portion of every Hull Float sale directly benefits the Foundation’s conservation programs.
“ASA has been thrilled to work closely with Hobie® Eyewear on this incredible project that helps grow the sportfishing community, raises awareness around conservation, and supports efforts to keep Americans fishing. Not only have they developed a product that’s durable and effective on the water, but they’ve also found a way to make it sustainably,” said MaryBeth Long, VP of Communications – American Sportfishing Association. “We fully support Hobie’s mission to promote sustainable initiatives and are grateful that proceeds from this project will provide much-needed funding to the FishAmerica Foundation. Fishing and conservation go hand in hand. We’re excited to see what’s next for Hobie® Eyewear and look forward to a long-term partnership!”
In addition, Hobie® Eyewear proudly supported professional angler Carl Jocumsen’s #WorldWideLakeCleanup campaign by organizing two cleanups of their own—one at Jordan Lake, North Carolina, and another at Jones Beach, New York. These events engaged local communities and highlighted the brand’s hands-on commitment to cleaner waterways.
