Hobie Eyewear Ambassador Abby Abbondanza Crowned 2025 Bassmaster Kayak Series Angler of the Year

Oceanside, CA (October 2025) — Hobie® Eyewear proudly congratulates team ambassador Abby Abbondanza on capturing the 2025 Bassmaster Kayak Series Angler of the Year (AOY) title. From the start of the season, Abbondanza’s goal was to stay consistent across the highly competitive six-tournament schedule. With 733 points across his three best events, the Greensburg, PA, angler secured the AOY crown and the $5,000 prize by winning a total inches tiebreaker over New Hampshire’s Jake Angulas. His 541 inches across three events came down to a margin of just one bass, proving how every decision and every bite mattered.
