Oceanside, CA (October 1, 2024) — In light of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, Hobie® Eyewear fully supports the decision to postpone the Field & Stream Music Festival. Our thoughts are with those affected by this disaster, and we stand in solidarity with the communities as they begin the long process of recovery. While we were looking forward to showcasing our new collection, the well-being and safety of everyone impacted are our top priorities during this crisis.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the hurricane and the subsequent flooding. The devastating impact of this storm has called for immediate attention to recovery efforts, and we recognize that these efforts take priority over any planned events.
Instead of attending the festival, Hobie® Eyewear will donate to the American Red Cross in support of its disaster relief efforts. The Red Cross is providing food, shelter, health services, and other essential resources to those affected by the hurricane.
“We are heartbroken by the damage caused by Hurricane Helene, but we know that the most important thing right now is helping the people affected by this disaster,” said Darren Goldman, Vice President of Hobie® Eyewear. “We are committed to standing by the Carolinas in their time of need and will continue to support recovery efforts in any way we can.”
Hobie® Eyewear remains dedicated to its customers and the outdoor communities we cherish. We look forward to reconnecting at future events. For now, we focus on lending support where it is needed most.
